Imperial College London ranking in UK in The Complete University Guide and The Guardian is #5 in 2023. In The Complete University Guide, Imperial College London ranked at #5 position only in 2022. However, in the rankings specified by The Guardian, the college's ranking has improved from #7 in 2022 to #5 in 2023. In all, if observed carefully, Imperial College London ranking, particularly in the UK is in the Top 10 Universities in UK since 2019.

The first rule is to make sure you do enough to pass your first year. Your percentage won't really make a difference as it contributes to such a low proportion of your overall degree, but make sure you don't fail any of the individual exams. Aside from that, there isn't much to say. I would have said don't go there and go to UCL instead, but since you are already starting that wouldn't be that helpful! Personally, I think everyone should just join some group/society/sport. Imperial is an extremely good university that does very well in global rankings. That said, how good a university is not the best metric to use in this situation. There are some other questions you need to answer first:
- do you want to spend four years in London? - do you want to take on extra debt to do so? - do you definitely want to specialize in Aero Eng? Once you have a clearer view on these, the answer to your question will probably be clearer.
