Currently, ETS - the conducting body of the TOEFL exam offers the ETS TOEFL iBT (Internet-Based Test) - which is the most widely opted-for exam and is conducted at a TOEFL test centre, TOEFL iBT Home Edition - is the same TOEFL iBT test which the candidates would take at a test centre, now taken from the privacy of your own home and monitored online by a human proctor and ETS TOEFL Test on Paper - is the same TOEFL iBT test but is taken in two sessions, i.e. Reading, Listening, and Writing sections are conducted at a TOEFL test centre and the Speaking section is conducted at home on your computer within three days
