Yes, Grace marks are given for the plus two students. Kerala Government restored the grace marks awarded to school students for their excellence in extracurricular activities. In 2023, the Kerala Principal Secretary had issued a new order stating that grace marks being awarded to the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) and higher-secondary Plus-Two students in Kerala who excel in extracurricular activities will be limited to a single event in which they scored the maximum marks, and it doesn’t matter whether they participated and became eligible in multiple co-curricular items. Generally if you talking about state government quota reservation then what they look for is the valid domicile of that state. It doesn't matter anything else as long as you have the valid domicile certificate of a particular state you eligible to apply for the government medical College of that particular state.

Congratulations to your daughter on her NEET UG score! While she has scored well in the NEET exam, it's important to understand that admission to All India Quota (AIQ) seats is based on merit and rank. The AIQ seats are reserved for candidates from all over India, excluding the respective state quota.

In the case of Punjab quota, your daughter's score of 672 should be considered for admission to medical colleges within Punjab. To secure admission to AIQ seats, she would need to have a rank that meets the cutoff set by the central counseling authorities.

Hello,

According to the previous year's cut off, a candidate belonging to the SC category scored 546 marks and the college allotted was Guahawti Medical College, through the state quota.

So a safe score for your category would be 540+ marks, and chances are low, of you getting a government medical seat in Assam.

You can get the following colleges at this score-

  1. Sukh Sagar Medical College and Hospital
  2. Heritage Institute of Medical Sciences
  3. Subharti Medical College
  4. Sri Siddhartha Medical College, Tumkur
