Hello, I would like to bring this to your notice that this year
Medical Council of India (MCI) has restrained six medical colleges in Andhra Pradesh State from going ahead with the admission process for MBBS courses as they have failed to meet the necessary requirements, Nimra Institute of Medical Sciences is one among those institutes. Few are some of the major rules for having the domicile of Karnataka to get into MBBS or BDS courses in Karnataka:
1. Candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam from a government or government recognised school of Karnataka.
2. Candidate should have studied in one or more government or government recognised school of Karnataka for consecutive 7 years anywhere between 1 to 12th standard.
3. Candidate's and their parent's mother tongue should either be kannada, kodava or tulu and the parents must have a domicile of Karnataka. The Candidate need to pass the Kannada Language Test, conducted by KEA.
