Yes, 85% of MBBS seats are reserved for candidates domiciled in Telangana. The remaining 15% are open to students from other states under the All India Quota. Extra relaxations are also given to SC, ST, OBC, and PwD candidates.

Students generally need a NEET score of around 540 and above to secure a government MBBS seat in Telangana. This can change every year depending on the number of applicants and difficulty of the paper. Reserved category students may get relaxation in cutoff.

Yes, NEET UG is compulsory for MBBS admission in Telangana. No college, government or private, can admit students without a valid NEET score. Candidates must also register for KNRUHS counselling. Skipping NEET makes a student ineligible for any MBBS seat in the state.
