Yes, it is worthy to study B.E/B.Tech mechatronics in Tamil Nadu. But you need to choose a good college as many don't offer this course.
Some of the top mechatronics colleges in Tamil Nadu are:
1) PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore
2) Thiagarajar College of Engineering, Madurai
3) SRM University, Chennai
4) Chennai Institute of Technology
5) VIT University
6) Madras Institute of Technology (ME mechatronics)

Take the GRE to pursue your Master's degree from USA. Not every university in Canada requires it so you must check on university websites and proceed accordingly. Different universities would be having different requirements. To study in India take the GATE and/or university specific entrance exams. Additionally, an IELTS or TOEFL score would be required to study abroad.

The eligibility conditions for BHMS (Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery) is as following:
The eligibility for the course is 10+2 with a minimum of 50% or equivalent level examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.
Admission to the B.H.M.S. is based on merit. In some states there is a joint entrance exam for B.H.M.S. along with the M.B.B.S. and B.D.S. tests. The Admission is based on performance of the candidate in written test which may be followed by personal interview. Minimum age limit is 17 years.
