KSRDPRU (Karnataka State Rural Development and Panchayat Raj University), Gadag, is the best university for rural development, governance to studying in Karnataka. Management programs, especially MBA in Rural Management, M.A. in Panchayat Raj and M.Sc. Geoinformatics are offered here which are not offered by other Universities in Karnataka.

Providence College of Engineering has a very good placement percentage. Around 75% of the students got on-campus placement, and many are trying for off-campus placements. Big companies like TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, and Google come here for placement. The highest package is INR 40 Lacs per year, and the average package is INR 8-9 Lacs per year.

The Maharashtra Institute of Medical Education and Research (MIMER) in Talegaon, Pune accepts the NEET PG and Maharashtra NEET PG exams for admission to the MD program. Candidates are selected based on their ranks or marks in these exams. 

The NEET PG exam is conducted by the Government of India.
