If your wife having aim for teacher than she can pursue B.ed for school teacher otherwise she can go for Net exam than apply for College level professorship and even she start teaching profession after Phd programme too.
So decide the way according to her interest and passion.

MBBS form an Indian Government Medical college ( if you are seeking selection on merit) will be ideal and provide better Return on Investment in comparison to MBBS in Russsia.

Firstly in both branches you will learn programming and coding. And there are few engineers which are real programmers who knows about software designing. Just learn programming from CSE or I.T and you will be placed even if you learn it at home without any degree, only your resume and knowledge will be enough to get you placed. The eligibility criteria is as follows:Candidates applying for admission to the Two Year Full-Time MBA must hold a Bachelor's Degree in any discipline after 12 years of formal schooling with at least 50% marks (SC/ST: Passing marks; OBC/PWD/CW: 45%) or equivalent CGPA. Candidates appearing for the final year examination of Bachelor's Degree may also apply. And yes it might be the case that open university would get less preference ONLY IF you are not able to provide any strong reason for not attending a regular college.
