NET is a National eligibility test so irrespective of from where you hv done your masters. If you qualify it, you will join as assistant professor or get JRF or both.

MBA in finance is a good option after BSc provided you are interested in career in BSFI domain. You may also evaluate other specializations also to open larger pool of job opportunities.

There are multiple good career options available for graduate in Economics. You can join MNCs, BFSI (Banking Financial Services & Insurance) companies as research analysts, IT industry as Business Analyst/ Tester, Indian Economic Services, Civil Services, RBI, banks , BPO, KPO, PSUs, private companies , Armed Forces as officer, academics etc . You can also evaluate MA and further education.

As of now chances are tough, maybe you can get PUMBA in 3rd round. Last year cut off for OHU was 95 percentile. Hope for the best.
