Don Bosco University admissions are based on scores obtained from various entrance exams. The entrance exams accepted for B.Tech are the JEE Main and the DBU-GET. Most other UG programs do not require an entrance exam, but candidates must meet the minimum eligibility requirements for each program. MBA candidates are required to take any of the entrance exams such as CAT, MAT, CMAT, JMAT, XAT, GMAT and DBU-PGET. M.Tech candidates do not need to take an entrance exam for admission to the M.Tech program, but they must have a minimum 60% marks in the qualifying UG degree with a good academic record.

No. The candidate can participate under one quota only either in the 85% quota (Punjab Resident Quota) or 15% quota (Outside Punjab Resident Quota) as per his/her State of eligibility in PTU BTech counselling 2025. If any candidate fails to prove his state of eligibility at the time of admission (after seat allotment), his / her candidature will be denied/rejected.
