Gujarat has about 200+ Btech colleges. Of these, 140+ are private colleges, 30+ are governmen colleges and public-private entities own 3 colleges. JEE Main and GUJCET are the most accepting entrance exams in BTech colleges in Gujarat.

The top colleges are  IIT Gandhinagar, Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology, SoT, etc.

The candidates should note that the salary of the IAS officier is fixed by the Ministry of Personnel, Government of India. The State governments are required to follow the mandate of the Union Government and pay the IAS officers such salary. This is the case for all the three All India Services.
