IISER Tirupati - Indian Institute of Science Education & Research considers the following entrance exam scores for admission to its undergraduate B.Sc. and integrated B.Sc.-M.Sc. programs:

1. Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced: Candidates must have appeared for and secured a qualifying rank in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced. The institute considers JEE Advanced rank for admissions through the JEE Advanced channel.

2. IISER Aptitude Test (IAT): Candidates can also apply through the IISER Aptitude Test (IAT), a centralized exam specifically designed for admission to IISERs. The institute considers IAT scores for admissions through the IAT channel.

3. KVPY Fellowship: Students holding a KVPY fellowship can also seek admission to IISER Tirupati. The institute offers direct admission to KVPY fellows.

The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER Tirupati) accepts applications solely on the basis of entrance. For admissions, the institute takes into account the following factors:

JEE Advanced: Candidates must have taken the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced and received a qualifying score. For admissions, the institute takes JEE Advanced ranks into account.

IISER Aptitude Test (IAT): Another way for students to apply for admission to IISERs is through the IISER Aptitude Test (IAT), a centralized exam. For admissions, the institute takes IAT scores into account.

KVPY Fellowship: Those who are awarded a KVPY fellowship are eligible to apply for admission to IISER Tirupati. KVPY fellows are eligible for direct admission to the institute.

The institute does not consider merit-based factors such as Class 12th board exam scores directly for admissions. However, academic performance is considered as part of the holistic assessment of candidates during the interview process.
