The MSc courses at IIT Delhi are not available for direct admissions. IIT Delhi MSc admissions are decided by the performance of a candidate in the IIT JAM entrance exam. Only candidates who secure appropriate ranks in the IIT JAM entrance exam are given seat allotcation during the CCMN counseling. IIT Delhi M.Tech admission is completely entrance-based. Candidates seeking admission to the IIT Delhi M.Tech course must appear for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE). However, BTech graduates from IITs with an overall CGPA of 8.00 out of 10 are exempted from GATE and are eligible for direct admissions.
