The students whose gross income of parents for the previous financial year is not more than INR 5 LPA are eligible to apply for Remission of fees. EWS students can also apply for full remission provided their parental income is less than INR 1 Lacs per annum. Two-third of fee is refunded in case where parental income is between INR 1 Lacs and INR 5 Lacs per annum.

Hostel and mess security deposit is a one-time fee during the entire duration of the student's stay in the hostel. Yes, the amount is refunded on vacating the hostel provided the concerned student is not charged with any fine for hostel/ mess damage. In case a student withdraws admission after paying the hostel fee, he or she is refunded fee after deduction of processing fee of INR 1,000.

IIT Bombay JEE Advanced Cutoff 2024 was released in the form of opening and closing cutoff ranks. Normally, the number of seats is directly proportionate to the Cutoff ranks. Also, it is observed that as the number of applicants increase, the Cutoff rank also increases. IIT Bomby 2024 Cutoff showed that, the number of seats increased in comparison to the last year in a few courses, and increased in a few courses. It also indicates that the competition has been declining in a few courses, while improving in a few. IIT Bombay JEE Advanced cutoff 2024 was released as opening and closing ranks for General, OBC, SC, ST, EWS, and PWD categories under the AI quota. Other than General, the 2024 cutoff ranks for B.Tech. at IIT Bombay for SC category is 32-1936 while for ST category is 79-1036 and for EWS category at IIT Bombay is 23-1338.

Yes, candidates can get admission to M.Tech course at IIT Bombay through GATE. Admission to the course is based on scores in GATE followed by COAP counselling. In addition, to be eligible to take the entrance test, candidates must also meet the minimum eligibility criteria. The college provide M.Tech course acorss various specialisations. In order to be eligible to apply for the course, candidate must pass a Bachelor degree in any recognised university with a minimum of 60% aggregate (55% aggregate for SC/ ST/ PwD category).

The last year 2022 cutoff ranks for B.Tech. in Civil Engineering at IIT Bombay - Indian Institute of Technology other than General category are - 1633 for OBC, 851 for SC, 257 for ST, 693 for EWS, 156 for PWD. While the admissions are based on the scores/rank obtained in JEE exam, the last cut offs also change a lot depending on All India quota or Home State. It also varies if the applicant is a female.
