IIT Bombay accepts UCEED scores for admisison to the B.Des course. The round 2 cutoff has been released. As per the cutoff list, the round 2 closing rank for B.Des was 14 for the General AII India category candidates. Durign the IIT Bombay UCEED cutoff 2023 the last round cutoff closed at 16, it means candidates scoring 50 in UCEED will not be eligible to get into IIT Bombay for B.Des admission. With a cutoff range of 50 to 80, candidates can choose IIT Hyderabad and IIT Guwahati for admission to the B.Des course.

The BSc programme offered at IIT Kanpur is compared to the BSc programme offered at IIT Bombay. The total tuition fees charged by both the institutes is INR 8 Lacs for all the specialisations. Any four-year bachelor's degree (post-10+2) or two-year master's degree in arts, commerce, or a similar field, or an LLB with at least 50 percent (55% for SC/ST/PwD) or an equivalent letter grade/GPA from an accredited university or deemed university (as recognised by AICTE/UGC/AIU).

To get admission:
A) Candidates who have 3 years/4 years Bachelor's degree can apply for an MA in IIT Bombay.
B) Candidates must meet the minimum percentage criterion in their qualifying degree as per the institute norms (GN/EWS/OBC-NC 60% and SC/ST/PwD 55%; or a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA)/Cumulative Performance Index (CPI) of 6.0 on the scale of 0-10; or an equivalent to 6.0 or other corresponding.

Yes, GATE is one of the entrance exams required for admission to the PhD programs at IIT Bombay. However, candidates can also gain admission based on other exams like CSIR NET, CEED, UGC NET, or a written test conducted by the institute. The final selection process involves a personal interview round in addition to meeting the eligibility criteria
