Purdue University is no doubt a better university than Indiana University Indianapolis. Purdue University ranked at the #43 place among National Universities where Indiana stands at #201. In addition, as per the Shiksha grading, the overall university grade of Purdue is ‘A’, and Indiana got a ‘B+’ overall grade. International students coming from diverse countries must prove their English language proficiency as a basic eligibility to get admission to Indiana University. This is a one-time scholarship of USD 3,000 and is presented to only one student every other year in Spring as a part of the International Women’s Day Conference. Yes, IU offers merit scholarships to international students. Global Engagement Scholarships are offered to international freshmen each year. These are the merit-based competitive scholarships that usually ranges from USD 1,000 – USD 11,000 per year. These awards are renewable for four years. The selection for these scholarships is done on the basis of overall assessment of the information provided by students to IU. No separate scholarship application is required.
