Hi,
Both have great opportunities in their respective fields. It is on your interest if you like to be creative with stuff like product packaging, wrapping, the overall look, and the shape of the product, you should go for a BDes in Product Design. Meanwhile, if your interest lies in decorating the interior of space like your house or commercial places like cafe, restaurants, hall, and offices, you must go for the BDes Interior Design program. A student can apply for the programme for M.Des in Fashion, interior, product design and more, Students coming from any 10+2 or graduation discipline from a recognised university, or board with a minimum aggregate of 50%, can appear for any entrance or admission process or any design course. You can also have a look at IILM University, Gurugram. You can appear for IILM University Gurugram's Design Aptitude Test with the Interview Process for applying. They offer M.Des degree programs with various specializations like Fashion, Interior, Interaction, and Product Design of 2-years with an added advantage of Liberal Edu

Eligibility criteria : Bachelors Degree in Design/Engineering/Architecture/ Interior Design: 10+2+4 years (minimum four year Bachelors course).
Note: B.Plan. considered equivalent to B.Arch. Four year B.Sc (Engg) course after HSC considered equivalent to BE/B.Tech.
OR Professional Diploma in Design: 10+2+4 years (minimum four year Diploma program).
OR BFA Sculpture (4 year professional program with entry after 10+2).
So from above B.Des is not mandatory for the asked course.
