INI CET 2023 Eligibility Criteria:
1- Students should have a Bachelor of Medicine, a Bachelor of Surgery degree for Doctor of Medicine/Master of Surgery course from an institution recognised by the NMC (National Medical Commission).
2- Students must have completed a 1-year rotatory internship and have a completion Certificate.
3- Candidates from the General/OBC/EWS category must have secured a minimum of 55 percent aggregate in MBBS while candidates from the Schedule Caste/Schedule Tribe category must obtain 50 percent.

The Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test is the AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Sciences) Delhi conducts the entrance test for admission to Postgraduation courses such as MS (Masters of Surgery), MD (Doctor of Medicine), MS (Master of Dental Surgery), DM (Doctorate of Medicine), and M.Ch. (Master of Chirurgiae). Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test scores are valid for admission to 15 All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research (JIPMER) Puducherry, Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research PGIMER Chandigarh, and Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology (SCTIMST), Trivandrum. With effect from 2021, all these institutes admit Postgraduation candidates on the basis of the marks obtained in the Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test exam only. Earlier these 16 institutes used to conduct separate exams for admission to Postgraduation courses.
