The Institute of Engineering and Management Kolkata admission to the BTech courses is based on WBJEE scores, followed by the WBJEE Counselling process. IEMJEE is the exams for the admission in graduation and post graduation courses student must score 60 percent marks in class 12 for graduation courses and score 50 percent for taking admission in PG courses including MBA courses. Students can take admission directly in BCA and MCA courses.

The candidate must also have completed 10+2 education from a recognised board with minimum 50% aggregate for securing a seat in B.Tech.
