You might not get IHM-Bangalore, but you will definitely get IHM Ahmedabad, and that is good college too.

You will not get admission into IHM, Bangalore with that rank. I would suggest you try for some other colleges that would be possible with your rank and reservation.

You might have to go upto the third round if we go by the last year's data. But you will get admission in IHM, Bangalore considering your reservation.

Can you tell me your rank, so that I can clearly tell you the most likely outcome?

IHM Bangalore is good I am a passout student from the same college, the picture online shown for the college is not how the college looks like although it's one of the best college. The faculty and hostel is good. The placement records are 200%, so if you want to do HM it is one of the best college.

If you are selected as MT in hotel then your starting salary would be around 20k on an average after training of 18 months it would be around 37k in Marriott and other hotels except ITC (it's 55k) and Oberoi (50k) whereas in retail the staring salary would be around 30k per month apart from incentives.

No, your chances are very slim to nil. If you are reserved, then some chance exists.

You have to select which institution you want to join. Somewhere, its on first come first serve basis and different institutions have different hostel fee. For Bangalore, it's 78,000 per year.
