The Institute of Hotel Management, Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition, Mumbai accepts the NCHMCT JEE entrance exam for admission to the B.Sc. in Hospitality and Hotel Administration course. The Round 1 seat allotment result is out, wherein the closing rank stood at 768 for the students belonging to the General AI quota. Among the OBC category candidates, the NCHMCT JEE first round closing rank was 4405. For other categories, refer to the table below:

Institute of Hotel Management Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition, Mumbai has a state-of-the-art infrastructure. The IHM Mumbai technology is modern and advanced. Yes, taking admission into IHM Mumbai is considered competitive. However, for entrance-based admission candidates have to apply on the website of the respective entrance exam. The institute requiring a strong performance on the NCHMCT JEE entrance exam and a good rank to secure a seat at IHMCTAN Mumbai, especially for the general category. In 2024, the last round closing rank for the BSc programme in the General AI quota was 1363, while in 2023 it was 903, and in 2022, it was 617. IHM Mumbai considers merit for admission to diploma and certificate courses.

IHM Mumbai and IHM Lucknow both accept the scores of NCHMT JEE for admissions to BSc courses. Hence, the admission process is almost identical for both institutions, as the first requirement is candidates must complete their higher senior secondary with decent scores, then they must appear for NCHMT JEE, followed by counselling. Therefore, it is hard to determine which institute it is easier to get admission into BSc courses.
However, if the seating capacity for both colleges came into consideration, then the seating capacity for the BSc course at IHM Lucknow is 343 and the total number of BSc seats available at IHM Mumbai is 457.

IHM Chennai and IHM Mumbai, both are Institute of Hotel Management colleges, and recognised by National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT). Admission process for MSc courses at both institute is almost same. For admissions candidates are required to qualify the basic eligibility criteria first that requires a minimum score of 50% in BSc HHA or relevant degree and secured a valid score/ rank in NCHMCT MSc JEE.
However, if we compare both institutes on their ranking in IHM, then IHM Chennai has been ranked on the number 5th by India Today. On the other hand, IHM Mumbai has been ranked 3rd by India Today. Hence,

The Institute of Hotel Management (IHM), Mumbai offers a variety of programs, one of which is the B.Sc. in Hospitality and Hotel Administration. The three-year course costs around INR 4,41,225.
SC category students who are domiciled in Maharashtra and whose family income is less than 2.5 Lacs a year can apply for scholarship. The students may get the Maharashtra State Scholarship, which would cover most of the tuition fees.

Yes, securing admission into tye Institute of Hotel Management Mumbai is really tough due to high Compitition. You need a very high score in Entrance Exam like Maharashtra Hotel Management Common Entrance Test (MAH HM CET) to get admission and this Institute also prefers high marks in 10th and 12th boards.
