To enter into the MBA programme at IIBS Bangalore, the candidate should have a *Bachelors degree* from any discipline in a recognised university with an *aggregate mark of 50%* (45% for SC/ST). A candidate needs to have a valid score in entrance exams accepted by IIBS in the forms of *CAT, MAT, XAT, GMAT, and ATMA*. Besides that, the working experience and academic performance also form the consideration that IIBS takes while selecting its students. Only the shortlisted candidates would be selected for a personal interview and group discussion.

IIBS Bangalore generally requires 50-60% marks in your undergraduate degree, but the edge is on the entrance exam score. For popular exams like CAT, MAT, XAT, and GMAT, the minimum percentile score is 50-60. However, you cannot be 100% sure of getting admission to an institute because there are certain personal interviews, academic performance, and work experience, based upon which the admission takes place.

IIBS Bangalore is generally a *Tier 2* business school. It offers some excellent academic programs and has sound industry reputation, which is not as great as that of institutes like IIMs and XLRI. These colleges are often termed as Tier 1 schools. IIBS has been gaining recognition for practical approach to management education, good industry contacts, and low fees. As of now, however, as far as rankings in the nation go, placement statistics, and brand value are concerned, it lags a little behind the elite Tier 1 B-schools.

Most of the time, they have rolling admissions, however, it is important to note that they have limited seats, so it is preferable to apply as soon as possible. For more detailed deadlines, it is better to either go to the IIBS website or call the admissions office for current information.
