The B.Tech programme in Marine Engineering is the entry point for prospective engineers. IMI uses the IMU CET test to select students. You are halfway there if you aced Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) in your 10+2. IMI and IILM University are the best private institutions in their segments. IMI provides various UG programs in Marine engineering whereas IILM University provides education in general category of engineering. The IILM University offers more than 10 courses where IMI offers only 2 courses. The placements of IILM University is quite higher than that of IMI that is 78%. The fees of IILM University is far lower than that of the IMI.
