Yes,  International Maritime Institute Greater Noida accepts IMUCET marks for admission to the BTech course. The IMU Common Entrance Test (CET) is the basis for admission to these programs and seats are allotted through the IMU CET guidelines. For B.Tech in Marine Engineering at IMI Noida, a good IMUCET score is required, while general category students must score in the top 700 for admission. The IMUCET exam is conducted in online mode and the result is the marks obtained and the grade obtained in the exam.

The online IMU CET application form is released on March 2025, tentatively. The official date for application form and other events will be announced by the Indian Martime University. Candidates can apply for IMU CET 2025 through Online mode only. The link is made available on IMU's website. The IMU CET online application form consists of three portions:

  • Personal Details
  • Academic Details
  • Payment Details

Candidates have to fill in these three portions. Once the payment is successful, the candidate's dashboard will appear, from which they can download the filled-in application.

Yes, International Maritime Institute Greater Noida offers equal opportunity to apply for scholarships. The scholarships are often merit-based and are offered to students based on their academic performance and sometimes through sponsorships from shipping companies. Therefore, despite of whichever caste the students belong to they are eligible to apply for the scholarships if they have an excellent academic background.

International Maritime Institute Greater Noida offers 60 seats for its BTech course. Since the seats are limited, they must apply as soon as the application portal opens. At IM Noida seats are only allocated once the  IMU CET counselling is conducted. Shortlisted candidates are called to appear in the counseling. Candidates have to go through various stages which are registration, choice filling, seat allotment, document verification, fee payment, etc.

International Maritime Institute offers multiple post sea courses, which can be pursued by any maritime professional with prior sea-service experience. These courses are recognised by the Standards of Training Certification and Watchkeeping (STCW). Indian National Database of Seafarers (INDoS) is mandatory for all candidates which they may apply through IMI at least a month before the commencement of the course. The span of all the courses ranges from 1 to 15 days, depending on the nature of the training.
