Your IPMAT Examination centre is available on the admit card of the IPMAT examination. To download the admit card, follow these steps : 

• Go to the official website of IPMAT. 

• Click on the' download admit card' tab on the website. 

• Enter the required credentials. 

• Download the admit card and check your assigned centre.

The IPMAT exam is held for a duration of two hours or 120 minutes. It is a single-slot exam, there is only one window for all candidates to take the test on a particular date.

  • Duration: 120 minutes (2 hours)
  • Number of Slots: 1 (Single slot for all candidates)
  • Sections: typically divided into three sections - Quantitative Ability (MCQs & Short Answer Questions) and Verbal Ability.
  • Question Type: A mix of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) and Short Answer Questions (SAQs)

Every candidate must carry a simple blue/black ball point pen and a two copies of their passport size photo to the IPMAT exam centre. They must not carry any stationary item other than the pen. Ever since the COVID-19 outbreak, IPMAT candidates are required to carry drinking water, hand sanitizer, face mask and gloves along with them. They have to carry drinking water in a transparent bottle. No other item will be allowed inside the exam venue. They also must not carry bags or valuables as there will be no arrangement for depositing while candidates appear for the exam. Candidates must also not carry notebooks or rough paper to the IPM

Candidates must report to the IPMAT exam centre at least an hour before the commencement of the exam. The IPMAT exam took place from 2 PM to 4 PM at various test centres, hence, candidates had to reach the exam centre the latest by 1 PM. Candidates were not allowed to leave the exam centre before 4 PM (afternoon session). Also, they can not re-enter the exam centre once they have submitted the exam.

No, digital copy of the IPMAT admit card will not be considered valid for the verification purpose at the IPMAT exam centre. Candidates have to carry a coloured printout of the IPMAT admit card to gain an entry. IPMAT admit card is a mandatory document which is to be carried to the exam centre along with a recent coloured passport size photograph affixed to it. The photograph should match the one uploaded in the IPMAT application form. Students applying for the IPMAT exam can choose only test centre. And the IPMAT test city cannot be changed once the form has been submitted and also during the form correction window. The details of the IPMAT  test centre will be mentioned on the IPMAT admit card along with the date and time of the exam and the students will also be informed via SMS or email. The IPMAT exam is conducted in as many as 28 test cities namely:

In IPMAT candidates are provided with a rough sheet or a scribble pad for rough work and calculations. This is done to enable candidates to solve formula-based questions and other numerical problems. Candidates are not allowed to carry any page or sheet of paper with them into the examination hall. No, it is not allowed to take a notebook to solve questions in IPMAT (Integrated programme in Management Aptitude Test).
