The questions of IPMAT are not harder than JEE. Those questions test you basic reasoning and aptitude skills. So, for someone who hasn't practiced those types of questions may seem hard.

IPMAT syllabus includes Quantitative Aptitude, and English.

IPMAT have 3 sections. Section A: Short answer type: 20 questions
Section B: Quantitative Aptitude: 40 questions
Section C: English: 40 questions (As per the previous year's paper pattern).

Yes, you can go for both. Both the exams will help you get different colleges. So, it depends on you which college you want to go for.

I believe yes. The student is eligible but for safety sake the person can directly call IPM office (email takes time, call is quick and easy).

The IPMAT timelines would be fixed so it may clash depends on the timeline.
But as far as rules are concerned provisional certificate for 12th would be fine and make the person eligible to give the exam.

The eligibility criteria for IPMAT 2019 is as follows: The candidate should have scored a minimum of 60% in class 10th/SSC and class 12th/ HSC or equivalent examination in case of General and NC-OBC category. Also, the candidate should be of maximum 20 years on July 31, 2019.
An entrance examination follows, to test the applicant's aptitude, logical reasoning and proficiency in English and Mathematics. Shortlisted candidates appear for personal interviews.
