Yes, one can appear for the IPMAT exam even if they didn't have mathematics in Class 12. There are no specific requirements of the IPMAT exam for having studied mathematics. But, maths is helpful for IPMAT exam.

Candidates are allowed to fill the IPMAT and to choose desired exam city under IPMAT test cities. IIM Indore will try and allot a test centre in the city selected by the candidate.

IPMAT syllabus is considered moderate to difficult because of tricky QA section of the IPMAT exam. This many a times exceeds the difficulty level of Class 12 maths.

Generally, JIPMAT is considered easier than IPMAT Indore and IPMAT Rohtak. Past test-takers have specifically noted that the Quantitative Aptitude and Verbal Ability sections are relatively easy.

IIM Rohtak accepts IPMAT Rohtak scores for IPM admissions. TAPMI University Manipal also accepts IPMAT Rohtak scores but also accept IPMAT Indore.

Most IIMs accept IPMAT Indore scores.
