To be eligible to pursue MTech at Jadavpur University, a candidate must have passed BTech or equivalent graduation degree in relevant stream from a recognised institute/university with a minimum of 45% aggregate. For SC/ST candidates, the minimum aggregate required is 40%. Hence, a candidate scoring less than 50% but more than 45% (40% for SC/ST candidates) in bachelor's degree is eligible to apply for MTech admission at Jadavpur University. No, a student scoring less that 60% in their bachelor's degree is not eligible to apply for MCA admission at Jadavpur University if they belong to the general/unreserved category. For candidates belonging to the general category, the minimum marks required in the UG degree is 60%. However, for the candidates belonging to the reserved categories (SC/ST) the minimum aggregate required in graduation is 45%. The selection is based on the scores of WEBJEE JECA. Yes, you can take admission .Most Food Technology courses require a background in subjects related to science, particularly in areas such as Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. While having PCB subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) in your +2 may be beneficial, it would be helpful to have studied subjects like Chemistry and Mathematics, which are commonly required for Food Technology courses.
