Dear Shailesh , Lateral Entry admission into Engineering is based on your Diploma Program , Whichever the Diploma you did in your Diploma . You will get the admission in Engineering Program through Lateral Entry entrance test which will be conducted by the university, once if you qualify in the entrance test, you will get admission in the university. First of all, you cannot get admission in IIEST Shibpur through WBJEE rank. It intakes students only through JEE Mains. Jadavpur is one of the best engineering colleges in whole India, so you have to get a very good rank to secure admission in it. The cutoffs for last year (after 3rd round) were:
Chemical Engineering: 881
Civil Engineering: 984
Computer Science & Engineering/ Computer Science & Technology: 132
Construction Engineering: 1376
Electrical Engineering: 489
Electronics & Communication Engineering/Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering: 260
Food Technology and Bio Chemical Engineering: 1805
Information Technology: 422

Yes, you can get admission in Jadavpur University. However, to get B.Arch in Jadavpur University NATA is not mandatory. You can take admission for B.Arch programme in Jadavpur University by getting a good rank in WBJEE also. Last year, the cutoff after 3rd round was 5767.

Hi,
If you are seeking a management seat then you can approach the colleges directly, if you are seeking government merit seats then you will have to submit your NATA scorecard to the regional exam authority to secure a rank for counselling and select a college in the counselling process.

As per my knowledge, there is no evening course in BE at Jadavpur University. You can get admission in Jadavpur University through your WBJEE rank. Students under 1500 rank can easily get a seat in this college.

Eligibility Criteria for Admission :
Mandatory Subjects : Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics in Class 12th. Candidate must have secured minimum 65% of marks for General Category, 58.5% of marks for OBC Category, 48% of marks for SC and ST Category and 40% of marks for PWD Category in mandatory subjects.
