Jamia Hamdard Admission Process

As per the brochure released in the year 2023, candidates seeking admission to BTech must have passed Class 12 exams with Mathematics and Physics as compulsory subjects along with one subject out of the following: CS, Chemistry, or Electronics from CBSE or any other recognised board securing at least 50% aggregate or equivalent CGPA. Followed by meeting the eligibility criteria, candidates are required to qualify the Paper-1 of JEE Main exam conducted by NTA. However, in case of delay in the conduct of JEE exam, the deemed-to-be university offers admission on the basis of merit of aggregate percentage in the first five subjects of the qualifying exam, i.e., Class 12.

Jamia Hamdard admission process begins with registration followed by selection round. Below is the step-wise details:

STEP 1: Application Process 

Aspirants meeting the eligibility criteria need to apply online for BBA. Before applying for BBA admission at Jamia, aspirants must fill CUET-UG application form. Candidates can select BBA in the course selection to register for the same. 

STEP 2: Selection Rounds

Jamia Hamdard shortlists candidates for BBA programme based on CUET-UG score. If seats are vacant, the admission may be done based on merit of the first five subjects in the qualifying examination. For admission to BBA distance education and Kannur Campus, merit in the last qualifying exam is considered. The university releases a selection list with the names of the shortlisted candidates.

STEP 3: Counselling & Admission Confirmation

Once selected, aspirants have to appear for counselling and document verification. Selected candidates are required to come for counselling round along with the below documents for verification

Candidates do not need to pre-register any where to apply for Jamia Hamdard University MBBS programme. All seats (General, Muslim Reserved & NRI) are allotted through NEET-UG Counseling through MCC of DGHS under MoHFW, GoI only. Below are the steps to apply for NEET-UG for Jamia Hamdard MBBS admission:

Step 1: Visit the NEET 2024 official website.

Step 2: Click on the tab indicating Registration.

Step 3: Read all the instructions and register with personal details such as name, contact details, password, etc. to generate the application number and password.

Step 4: Register for NEET 2024 by entering personal, contact details and password.

Step 5: Verify OTP received through SMS and email.

Step 6: After the credentials are generated, log in and fill up the application form with personal and educational details, exam medium and exam city preference and photograph and signature upload.

Step 7: Pay the application fee in online mode through credit/debit card, net banking, Paytm and UPI.

Jamia Hamdard admission process begins with registration. Candidates are required to fill NEET-UG application form for MBBS admission. Candidates after registration, have to appear for NEET-UG. Once the results are out, students are called for counselling. NEET UG Counselling is conducted by MCC for admission to MBBS course.

The NEET counselling is segregated into two categories, central or national, and state counselling. The NEET counselling process conducted by MCC is for admission to the 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats. Besides, State Authorities or the Education Department of various states conduct NEET state counselling for the 85% state quota seats. 

Candidates seeking for admission to BA LLB at Jamia Hamdard must qualify for CLAT exam and wait for the result declaration. After the release of the final result, candidates must fill an online application on the official website of Jamia Hamdard University. Candidates can filll the Jamia Hamdard application form by using the following steps:

1. Visit the official website of Jamia Hamdard, (jamiahamdard.ac.in).
2. Under 'Admission & Examination' tab, select 'Online Admission Portal'.
3. Click on 'Admission Open, Click Here to Apply'.
4. Register with the basic details to generate login credentials.
5. Login to fill out the application form and upload documents.
6. Pay the application fee and submit the form.

In order to get admission to a five-year BA LLB course at Jamia Hamdard, candidates have to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria in the first place. Candidates who passed Class 12 with minimum 50% aggregate are eligible to apply for the course. Further, candidates have to qualify for CLAT exam with a valid score. After the result declaration, candidates can apply on the university's official website. Based on the past academic records and entrance exam scores of candidates, the university will release a selection list of candidates. The shortlisted candidates have to appear for a counselling process and present the relevant documents for the verification.
