The last date to apply for the entrance exam of Jammu University is 31st May.

Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Kashmir, [SKUAST] Srinagar is the only university that offers B. V. Sc.

Most of the entrance exams are already conducted. Please look for colleges which takes students without any entrance exam, because you're too late now.

Aakash Institute is among the top coaching institutes for JEE, it do have a branch in Jammu. Other best one is Career Launcher, having a branch in Jammu. Aakash has given good results in past couple of years, 1400+ selection in JEE Advanced and around 3000 in JEE Mains.

First of all, congratulations on clearing JEE Mains and among these low ranked NITs, I would recommend Sikkim followed by Srinagar, Manipur, Nagaland and Meghalaya.

These NITs are not good in terms of placements. In my view, you son should get admission in a good deemed university.
