Jaypee University of Information Technology Eligibility

Jaypee University of Information Technology provides BTech course across several specialisations. To be eligible for getting into this course, students must fulfil the admission criteria as prescribed by the university. The basic eligibility requirement is to pass Class 12 or equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 60% from a recognised board. Further, 50% of the total seats are offered based on valid JEE Main score and the remaining 50% through merit basis. • Educational Qualification: Class 12 or equivalent qualification from a recognised board at least 60% aggregate marks
• Selection Criteria: Admission are provided on the basis of performance shown by the candidate in CUET

The eligibility criteria for the schlarship at Jaypee University of Information Technology is mentioned below:

• Combined Income of the parents/guardian should be less than or equal to INR 1.5 lacs per
  annum.
• Merit is determined on the basis of following weightages of marks obtained in classes 10, Class 12 and performance in
• BTech. first Semester
• Class 10: 15%
• Class 10+2: 35%
• BTech 1st Semester: 50% 

Candidate should have passed three-year Bachelor's degree in the relevant discipline with minimum 60% (55% for SC/ST) or equivalent grade point on a 10 point scale in aggregate from a recognised University / Institution. Admission is through PGET (PG Entrance Test) conducted by Jaypee University of Information Technology. GATE Qualified candidates are exempted from PGET Entrance Test. However, they have to appear for the interview. CUET-PG qualified candidates are also considered for admission to MTech Program.

Master’s degree in any branch of Engineering /Technology from a recognised university with at least 60% aggregate is the eligibility criteria for PhD in JUIT Solan.
