Candidates can find the scribe request letter to submit with the JEE Advanced application form on the information brochure. The information brochure has the list of certificates needed in prescribed format, that the candidates have to use wherever applicable while registering for the exam.

All the documents needed to be uploaded in the JEE Advanced application form must be in PDF format. However, the scanned images of photo and signature should be in JPEG format.

In case you are not able to upload the scanned photo in the JEE Advanced application form, then check for these issues:
- Size of the image (what is KB/MB of the photo). If the size is more than the limit, compress the photo and try again. If the size is less then, scan it again in better resolution.
- If the format is incorrect, that is not as per the guideline in the instructions, then resize the image and try again.

After successful submisison of the JEE Advanced application form, candidates will get a successful submisison message on their screen. Apart from that, the candidates can also check the status of their application form under their candidate login at jeeadv.ac.in.

Since in JEE Advanced, the application form correction window does not open, if you have made any mistake aftyer the form is submitted you cannot change it. In such case please contact the coordinating IIT as mentioned on the official brochure.
However, if you have not submitted the form, the you can make correction in the form as many times. Just ensure that all the details in the form has been rectified before the final submission.

There is no form correction facility provided in JEE Advanced exam. Details once fille in the form and the application fee is paid, the form correction window does not open. Hence the candidates have to make sure to fill in all the details correctly before paying the application fee and submitting the form.

The JEE Advanced application form 2026 will be realesed for the in the third week of April 2026 for the candidates who will qualify JEE Main 2026. For the foreign nationals and OCI/PIO (F) candidates, the registrations will start in the first week of April 2026.

- Since JEE Advanced form can be filled by candidates who qualify the JEE Main 2024 cutoff, only such candidates can register for JEE Advanced. candidates have to authenticate themselves using JEE Main 2024 application number, their name and date of birth
- Candidates have to furnish some details in the registration form. JEE Main details in the form will be prefilled from the JEE Main 2024 database.
- Next candidates need to enter the scanned documents as per the specifications
- Next, candidates have to remit the application fee as applicable. The mode of payment available is online only.

If you have forgotten your JEE Main application number, you can recover it using the following options:
- Check your email or mobile for a message consisting of your JEE Main application number sent during registration.
- Check your printout of the confirmation page for the application number.
- Contact NTA authorities to know your application number.
Once you have recovered your JEE Main application number, you can use it to login and fill out the JEE Advanced application form. If you are unable to remember your password, you can reset it using the forgot password option available on the official website of JEE Advanced.

No. There is no need to indicate Question paper language at the time of Joint Entrance Examination (Advanced) 2026 registration. Students will have the option to choose their preferred language that is English or Hindi as the default language for viewing the questions, at the start of the CBT (Computer Based Test) examination of Joint Entrance Examination (Advanced) 2026.
