If your question relates to someone else, I must share that in India Scholarships are more of 'Specific' scope and availability. Like Caste Based Reservation is sometimes restricted to state residents and many such benefits as well it is unlikely that a foreigner can avail a scholarship just by getting into IIT. It is also to be noted that for someone joining IIT from. Abroad, the Academic Credentials, IIT Ranking as well as other credentials can get some financial support from his own country. It should be considered Tough to get such MCM for Foreigners.

The VIT ranking mentioned is not up to the mark for securing admission in CSE/ME/CE/EC at VIT in the first category. However, he may get admission in the subsequent categories, but that will also incur you higher fees. So, if your son has a good preparation till date for BITSAT and advanced, then you can drop VIT, otherwise, go for the counseling at VIT. Best Wishes.

The NCERT standard books used in CBSE board is a preferred choice for IIT-JEE. They contain the right amount of information in an easy way to understand. This is why you should definitely read your NCERT textbook before you go for more advanced, difficult textbooks. Also, you need to practice the things you have learnt, and for that following are the Best Books for JEE Main Physics-Author

IIT JEE Physics-DC Pandey

You will be eligible to appear for JEE Mains and Advanced after your Diploma from LPU as Diploma students who have completed their degree or are in the final year of doing. So, you are eligible to apply for JEE Mains, but will not be given admission to NITs and CFTIs. If they qualify JEE Mains, they will have to appear for JEE Advanced and they will be given admission like class 12th pass students. No lateral entry will be allowed.
