You would most likely not be eligible for JEE Advanced if you have an OBC Common Rank List (CRL) rank of 231,000 in JEE Mains. The JEE Advanced exam is typically only accessible to the top 2.5 Lacs candidates from JEE Mains, meaning that the cutoff is typically substantially higher. Nevertheless, depending on your OBC category rank and the admissions requirements of certain universities, you can still apply through JEE Mains for admission to a number of NITs, IIITs, and other engineering colleges.

Yes, your registration could be canceled if you do not submit your OBC certificate during the JEE Advanced or JoSAA counseling process. Without this certificate, you may need to submit a temporary declaration, but it does not guarantee admission. Failure to provide the required OBC certificate by the deadline could lead to disqualification from the counseling process, impacting your chances of securing a seat based on your OBC rank. Therefore, ensure you have the necessary documentation ready befo

With a SC category rank of 5076 in JEE Advanced 2024, admission to a prestigious IIT may be difficult for popular programs like mechanical, electrical, or computer science engineering. On the other hand, you might be able to get into less competitive programs or at more recent IITs. Investigate options in engineering branches such as Metallurgy, Civil, or Chemical Engineering; take into account IITs with higher closing ranks for students in the SC category.
