Given your rank, securing admission into top-tier NITs might be challenging, but you have a good chance of getting into lower-ranked NITs such as those in Srinagar, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Agartala, Puducherry, and even NIT Jalandhar for textile engineering,  the expected rank for the 94 percentile is AIR 72,000 while that for the 95 percentile is AIR 60,000 the list of NIT'S and there respective branches at which admission are possible for a score between 94 to 95 percentile are provided here. If you are not able to clear JEE, but still feel that engineering is your true calling, then you need to look at some other options for engineering beyond the IITs and NITs. While JEE may be a tough exam to crack, there are many state engineering exams such as UPJEEE, WBJEE, COMEDK, MHTCET, TNEA, etc.Students aspiring for admission to top NITs like NIT Ahmedabad, NIT Calicut, etc. need to clear the JEE Main cut-off for top NITs to grab a seat in these institutes. Admissions into the B.Tech courses in all the NITs are based on the JEE Main exam.

Admission to SASTRA University is based on two streams:

In Stream 1, 70% of the seats are filled based on 75% class 12 marks and 25% JEE Mains marks. Candidates with class 12 scores between 90-95% and around 80% in JEE Mains have a good chance of admission.

In Stream 2, 30% of the seats are filled based solely on class 12 marks. Candidates typically need over 95% in class 12 due to high competition.

As your mark in IPE as well as in JEE Mains are good, so you have good chances to get into CSE branch from SASTRA University
