In case you don't get your desired college in your desired state, don't settle for some mediocre college. Instead of settling down for some mediocre college, it would be better if your try for some good private university. Many reputed private universities are offering B.Arch. They have their different criteria for admissions. Some offer admission on basis of JEE scores, some offer admission on basis of NATA and some offer admission on the basis of both. Yes, you can easily get it as my friend last year scored 5 lakh rank and easily got there in the first round of the counseling only plus there is first come first serve basis also so if you want there only then apply as soon as possible.

Without rank I cannot give any assurance but you have good chances of conversion. Also, conversion depends on the branch you would prefer.

Yes, you can definitely apply for NIT Trichy. Guessing on the mark is bit hard because rank varies from year to year. According to the previous records, you can apply.

It is a very good career option. One of the famous universities for petroleum engineering is UPES, Dehradun.
You should write JEE as it is one of the important exams but try to prepare yourself for UPES exam also.

If you want to do engineering and want to appear in JEE, then you should have mathematics in 12th class. Medical students can not apply for it. If you want to do engineering, then you have to repeat your class 12th by giving only Maths exam, after that you would be eligible for giving JEE Mains. All the best.
