Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University (HNBGU) provides B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) with entry based mostly on Common University Entrance Test (CUET) scores. Students should have 10+2 with Mathematics and Physics as core subjects, with Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, or Informatics Practices as optional subjects and at least 45% marks (40% for reserved classes).

Getting into aerospace engineering schools through JoSAA counseling is extremely difficult if you scored in the 58th percentile on the JEE Main and 72% on the board exams. This is the reason:

Eligibility Requirements: Candidates must have at least 75% on their Class 12 board exams or rank in the top 20% of their respective boards in order to be admitted to NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs through JoSAA. You don't meet this requirement with 72%.

Competitive Cutoffs: The field of aerospace engineering has the high cutoffs and is highly sought after. Admission is doubtful because a score in the 58th percentile on JEE Main is far higher than the usua

Your, prospects of getting into prestigious NITs or IITs in-demand fields like computer Science or electronics are slim if your JEE Main rank is 17000 and your JEE Advanced rank is 20000. Other respectable NITs and branches however might provide you prospects.

Possible Branches and NITs:

NIT Kurukshetra: Production, Industrial and Civil Engineering
Metallurgical and Materials Engineering at NIT Durgapur
NIT Silchar: Civil and Mechanical Engineering
These recommendations are based on the cutoff trends from prior years and they might change every year depending on things like application performance and seat availability.

Your anticipated All India Rank (AIR), based on your JEE Main percentile of 94.89 is almost 53,000. Because of the reservation privileges this rank could rise for an OBC-NCL candidate. You might have a chance of getting admitted to several NITs and branches with this rank even if popular branches and top NITs have higher cutoffs.

For example, in the past, certain NITs have had closing ranks for OBC-NCL applicants in fields like civil engineering, metallurgical engineering and biotechnology that fall within your rank range. These cutoffs, however, change every year depending on a number of variables including overall performance, seat av

If you are a female candidate with an OBC-NCL rank of 18,663 and a JEE Main percentile of 95.98 you have a good chance of getting into some National Institutes of Technology (NITs) Numerous NITs provide possibilities in different engineering fields even though popular branches like Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) and top NITs may have higher cutoffs.

For example, in 2023, the closing rankings for female OBC-NCL candidates at NIT Andhra Pradesh were:
Biotechnology: 17,812
17,478 Chemical Engineering
17,478 in civil engineering
These numbers imply that you have a fair chance of getting a seat at NIT Andhra Pradesh in fields like biotec

According to last year statistics, an OBC-NCL rank of around 5,751 to 11,994 is typically required for admission to IIIT Trichy through JoSAA or CSAB in the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) stream.
It can be challenging to get a seat in the CSE branch with your OBC-NCL rank of 16,500. OBC-NCL students have a little more hope of getting admitted to the Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) branch, where closing ranks have reached 15,120.

Indeed, applicants who fall under the general category must have at least 75% in their Class 12th test (or rank in the top 20 percentile of their respective boards) in order to be eligible for JEE Mains. The minimum score for SC/ST applicants is 65%. This requirement must be met in order to take the test and be admitted to NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs. This law does not, however, apply to admittance to private schools or certain public colleges that offer their own counseling services.
No, JEE Mains does not require a 75% grade in the 12th grade. The candidate's age, passing the qualifying exam, and studying the required topics (mathematics,
