Deciding whether to wait for the JEE result or take admission elsewhere depends on your situation and priorities. Here are some factors to consider:

1. JEE Result Timing and Expectations:

  • Wait for the Result: If you are confident about your JEE performance or are targeting top institutes (like IITs or NITs), it might be worth waiting for the result, especially if you believe your chances are strong. JEE results usually take a few weeks after the exam, so you'll have time to plan for counseling and admissions at institutes like IITs, NITs, or other top-tier universities.
  • Risk of Delay: If you're concerned about a delayed admission process

Applicants can check the JEE Main City Intimation Slip to know which test center is allotted to them after inputting their application number & date of birth. However, the code, address and other details of the JEE Main exam centres will be mentioned on JEE Main Admit Card .

It's improbable that you'll be able to get into NIT Goa with a JEE Mains rank of 273,715 because the closing ranks for B.Tech. degrees at NIT Goa are typically lower:
B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering: In Round 1 of 2024, the final rank for this course was 34,858. In 2023, the last round closing rank was 10,752.
B.Tech. in Civil Engineering: In Round 1 of 2024, the opening and closing ranks for home state male applicants were both 89,452. In Round 6, 2023, the General category candidates' final rank was 47,155. B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering: In 2024, the last-round cutoff rank was 31,124. The JEE Main cut-off f

With an 88% in your 12th grade, and an 86 percentile in JEE Mains 2024, you can get admission to CSE at SASTRA University. It's quite tough as the competition is enormous for this branch, but it is possible.

The process at SASTRA is rather interestingly different: 70% of the seats for this CSE programme are filled based on a composite score comprising 25% JEE Mains and 75% 12th board marks, while for the rest, 30%, admittance is based purely on board marks. Generally speaking, candidates having a JEE Main percentile of more than 90 and scoring more than 95% in boards have a higher chance at getting a seat in the CSE branch.

Firstly, clear all your fundamentals about all the chapters in all 3 subjects. You should be knowing major concepts and their applications.

Practice Mock tests and sample papers- Candidates must practice more and more JEE Main sample papers and mock tests. These mock tests and sample papers will open the candidates to different types of questions daily and will help them analyze their performance.

Try to solve every question in under 2minutes so that during exam, you'll get more time to crosscheck your answers.

All the very best :).

It might be difficult to get admitted to BTech CSE at Symbiosis Institute of Technology with 90 percentile in JEE Main. To be eligible for the course, the candidate needs to have at least 95% percentile in the JEE Main exam. You can appear for the exam again, or you can also take the SET/EEE test. You can surely get the Mechanical or ECE branch with these marks.

JSPM University, Pune is a relatively new institution, established in 2023 as a state private university. The university offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses, including B.Tech, MBA, LLB, and MCA, and admissions are strictly based on entrance exams such as JEE Main or MHT CET for B.Tech programs. The university focuses on providing various career-oriented opportunities, including internships and placements, with 150+ companies visiting the campus for recruitment?

With respect to your JEE Mains percentile (66%), you might get better admission chances through MHT CET as this percentile generally does not rank very high in JEE Mai

No, you can't get admission to IIIT Lucknow for BTech unless you qualify for JEE Main. For the undergraduate courses, JEE Main is the mandatory entrance exam, and admissions are made through JoSAA counseling based on ranks in JEE Main. But for other courses like M.Tech, MBA, MSc, or PhD, different entrance exams need to be qualified for; for example, GATE, CUET PG, IIT JAM, respectively. Most of the courses in IIIT Lucknow do not allow direct admission without an entrance exam.
