A candidate can give JEE Main exam six times over a period of three consecutive years. In a year, a candidate can appear for JEE Main twice in the months of January and April. If the candidate is appearing for the class 12th board exam in 2020, then he/she can appear in both the sessions of JEE Main

No, SRM does not take admission based on the JEE Mains marks. It is a private college and has its own exams. However, you can write the entrance exam for SRM and you can get admission into it.
