Similarly, General category candidates are expected to have a higher cutoff range than the candidates who belong to the reserved categories. The authorities prepare the JEECE cutoff to select candidates for admission.

The authorities will prepare the JEECE cutoff after considering various factors related to the qualifying examination and admission process. Some of the important factors that will be considered to determine the admission cutoff are - previous years' cutoff trends, difficulty level of the qualifying exam, total number of qualified candidates, total number of candidates applying for admission, number of available seats for admission, etc.
