Admission is taken on the basis of entrance examination taken by JCECEB Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board. The required information for admission is advertised by Deptt Science and Technology Govt of Jharkhand in prominent news papers and websites. Admission forms are made available on payment through identified Bank and Post Offices. Applicant are required to appear for a written test of three hours duration in subjects Physics Chemistry Mathematics English and Matriculation level on a specified Date Time and Venue. Successful Candidates are subsequently called for counseling to allot the College and Branch of study based on performance in the Entrance test and Candidates preferences.
fee structure of Government Polytechnic Dhanbad is almost the same as all of the Government Polytechnic colleges in Jharkhand under the JUT board. The fee structure for a 3 year Diploma is different for different categories of seats. If an ST SC student gets a general seat they have to pay the fees of a General seat and if a girl gets a seat they have to pay 205. Every student has to pay an additional fee for admission every year.

Teachers are very good and supportive ( for b.com as far as i know). Papers are well designed and for students of CA, CS and CMA who wants to pursue college along with college this is a good option. I am a CA student as well.

Our college does not provide with placement you will have to look for off campus jobs. But you can get internship through the college if available at the time when you are looking for internships. Internship details are always provided in college website.
