Reservation of seats in BA course offered by the Jiwaji University will be in accordance with the policy of Madhya Pradesh Government. The benefit of reservation will be available, only to the domiciles category candidates of Madhya Pradesh. Two extra seats will be created in BA course for the following:
- One seat for wards of regular teachers and officers of the University
- One seat for wards of regular Class III and Class IV employees of the University
- If any reserved category candidate gets placed in general/ open list in merit then the seat in reserved category will be unaffected but if applicant belongs to the category such as Fre

Jiwaji University admissions for BA course is merit-based. Students need to fulfil the eligibility criteria for admissions. The eligibility criteria is that candidate should have passed Class 12 with a minimum of 50% aggregate (relaxation of 5% for bonafide SC/ ST/ OBC applicants of Madhya Pradesh only and, a relaxation of 5% in eligibility criteria for Physically Challenged candidates). Candidates who get admission to the BA or BA (Hons) programme offered at Jiwaji University Gwalior must pay the Jiwaji University BA fees which range between INR 9,000 and INR 94,800 depending upon the institution selected by candidates. To be eligible for an MBA at JIwaji University, the candidates require a minimum of 50% marks in their bachelor's degree from any recognized University/ Institute. The candidate will have to appear for the Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by DTE Bhopal or in the CMAT exam and perform well in the exam.
