To be admitted to Jodhpur Institute of Engineering and Technology (JIET), you'll need the following documents: academic records, identification documents and digital photograph. You can apply online for admission on the JIET Universe portal. The application process is straightforward and includes filling out your personal and academic details. Basically, you have to bring originals and copies of all the necessary certificates, JEE (Main & Advanced) Score cards, proof of address, identity proof, caste/domicile certificate (whichever is applicable), at least two passport size photographs.

Over 150 companies participated in the 2024 placement drive at the Jodhpur Institute of Engineering and Technology, these included Pulse, Nucleus Software Exports Ltd, Design2Occupancy Services, etc. 70 to 80% of the students get placed during the placements yearly. The highest package offered to B.Tech graduates is around INR 33 LPA.

Candidates must appear for the JEE Mains entrance exam and obtain a decent rank, 70% of Seats to the JIET Jodhpur UG courses are filled based on state counselling after JEE Main, 15% are filled through JEE Main for candidates from other states and 15% seats are reserved for Management Quota.

The average package for M.Tech students at Jodhpur Institute of Engineering and Technology is around 5.50 lakhs per year for the 2023 batch, as per reports, which is based on the overall placements statistics and which has the highest package of 33lakhs per annum. Firstly, the cutoff trends of these recent times are mostly exam ranks in JEE Main for B. Tech admissions in JIET, which is a very popular institute of engineering and technology. In this respect, most probably, this time for the year 2023, the cutoff is likely to be around 90+ for the Common Rank List (CRL) and 70+ for the Economically Weaker Section (EWS). The cutoff is likely to be 72+ for Other Backward Class (OBC-NCL) and, for Scheduled Caste (SC) candidates it would likely be somewhere near about 50+. The cut-off for the Scheduled Tribes (ST) candidate would likely be expected around 39+ and for candidates with Disabilities (PwD)
