The institute boasts a commendable placement record, with nearly 70 to 80% of its students getting placed straight from campus. The highest package offered has been INR 33 LPA recently while the average package stands at around INR 6 to 7 LPA. Large companies such as Infosys, TCS, Capgemini and Byju frequently recruit from the campus, hence providing quite diverse job opportunities for the graduates. Internships also form a large part of the placement process with around 30% to 50% of the students obtaining intern positions. JIET is, therefore, considered to be a good option for engineering students who can expect good placement

JIET Jodhpur is one of the best engineering colleges in Jodhpur. JIET is the only engineering college in Rajasthan that is NAAC 'A' accredited. It is also among the best 15% NBA-accredited institutions in India. Top recruiting companies are Tata, Infosys, Capgemini, etc.
