Jodhpur Institute of Engineering and Technology is overall a Tier 2 institution. The institution offers engineering programs and shares the status of a university with Bikaner Technical University, Rajasthan. While JIET is by no means equivalent to the status of class 1, like IITs or top NITs, JIET has developed a reputable academic curriculum as well as an emphasis on practical training with engagement from the industry.
