LPU has a much larger campus, more CSE specializations (AI, Data Science, Cyber Security, etc.), a bigger recruiter pool, and stronger national-level exposure. Many national and multinational IT companies visit LPU, and the coding culture, hackathons, and internship opportunities are broader in scale. Competition is higher, but opportunities are also more.
JIET Jodhpur is a decent regional college and can be suitable if you prefer staying near home and want lower overall expenses. However, in terms of overall brand value, industry exposure, and number of placement opportunities in CSE, LPU generally has an advantage.

In the past placements, the highest package of IIT Jodhpur for B.Tech students was found around INR 61 LPA, and the numbers may vary a little from report to report. Though it has been reported that the highest package could go down to INR 53 LPA, the most quoted one is INR 61 LPA. All these differences show that placement statistics change constantly, as the conditions of the market keep on changing each year, along with the specific characteristics of each placement season. The best-updated information would still come from the placement reports published by the institute itself.
