In 2025, it has been ranked #278 in Best Global Universities, #113 in Best Global Universities in Europe, #19 in Best Global Universities in Germany, and #98 in World University Rankings 2026. Another top-ranking publisher ranked Karlsruhe Institute of Technology #193 of 14,131 in the World, #63 of 2,785 in Europe, #14 of 369 in Germany, #4 of 62 in Baden-Wurttemberg, and #1 of 7 in Karlsruhe.

No, KIT- KalaignarKarunanidhi Institute of Technology does not offers MCA course in online mode. The college offers an MCA course in offline mode for the duration of two years, divided into four semesters. Moreover, if the college starts any online course from MCA, it will be updated here on Shiksha.

KIT – Kalaignar Karunanidhi Institute of Technology accepts TANCET scores for MCA admissions. Before appearing for the entrance exam, candidates need to meet certain eligibility criteria. They should have completed a three-year general BCA/ bachelor's degree (BSc/ BCom/ BA with mathematics. Additionally, candidates must have secured a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (45% for reserved categories).
