I believe when you say IT, you are referring to Engineering and IT. For a career in IT, one can choose to do a B.Sc with Computer Science, BCA and then BCA thereon, BE/B.Tech. For BE/B.Tech, You could consider courses such as E&C, CSE, IS, Telecom, EEE, Instrumentation etc. And, then carve a career in IT sector post the graduation.
