You must pass the KCET (Karnataka Common Entrance Test), which is administered by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA), in order to enroll in the BVSC (Bachelor of Veterinary Science) programme in Karnataka. For general category candidates, the cutoff score is 50%, whereas for candidates in reserved categories, it is 40%. Hi, B.Tech in Food Technology is a UG programme with a duration of 4 years, divided into 8 semesters. This course can be pursued by candidates who have passed class 12th in any Science stream I. e. , PCM/PCB from a recognised board. KCET marks depends on your preferred college as the cutoff varies greatly for different colleges and your category.

The ratio of marks to rank depends upon multiple factors, like the number of candidates who appeared and the total number of seats available. The KCET rank will be calculated by taking 50% of the weightage of broad marks and 50% of KCET marks. As per the information given by you, your rank for KCET 2022 could be estimated anywhere in the range of 14000-22000. But this is just an estimation, and the actual rank will be decided by examination authorities in the report card. Hello Vikram Krishna, I must say that you have scored quite well in this exam. Getting 11K rank out of almost 50K is quite good. Be that as it may, it may not be sufficient to get you CSE branch as almost every student gives CSE as first choice. However, to help you I am attaching a link that will predict the branch of engineering that you can get based on your results in COMEDK. https://www.shiksha.com/engineering/comedk-uget-college-predictor
Best wishes to you.
