The cutoff of KCET for MMEC changes every year with the number of applicants, the level of difficulty of the exam, and the number of available seats. For the freshest admissions, the closing ranks for several engineering streams in MMEC usually fall in the bracket of around 40,000 to 70,000 as per the older data. That is to say, candidates who are getting a rank within that bracket have a reasonable prospect of entry.
